Hello! My name is Lo and I’m a creative from Perth, Western Australia. My love of drawing began in my childhood years, with hours spent crafting cartoons and illustrating comic books. I loved telling a story through characters I’d created, and the fine details that come with setting a tangible scene for them to exist in. 

I began drawing restaurants and hotels from photographs I’d taken of my travels and realised I could capture moments in time; a memory of a special place to create a sentimental piece of original artwork. My process begins with a sketch from a photograph, then introducing fine-point black archival ink pens to define intricate details and create dimension and depth. With so much mass produced and AI art these days, I want my works to be imperfect, real, raw, so I freehand the pens, wobbly lines and all.

My goal is to create an aesthetic, subtle visual of somewhere that is special to you, so you have that memory close to you, always. This extends to fictional settings, as those can be held just as close to the heart.
These pieces are made with love and patience, and I look forward to creating something sentimental for you.
